Hippie drug party or family friendly good time?

There is a lot of crossover in events here in Austin. Lots of activities that are labeled as family friendly still have a LOT of adult activities. We decided a long time ago, that as Austinites we wanted our kids to experience the things that the city had to offer... but that does mean that they sometimes see things that aren't necessarily rated G.
